Fukujyu Sencha tea was originally produced in Japan from high quality, richly coloured tea leaves. Sencha was originally produced by roasting the tea leaves, but the process now includes steam treatment, hot air drying and roasting. The flavour and colour of the Sencha tea varies depending on the type of processing, area of harvesting and the season it is picked. Sencha is highly regarded worldwide for its sweet taste, high vitamin content and spectacular flavours.
1-3 minutes brewing time at 75 – 80 c 4-5 level tsp per litre.
